System Controls

The NCR 7879 interface to the operator consists of various components around the Vertical Scan Window. This includes the Speaker, the Scan Advisor, the Power Bar, and four Control Buttons. If the NCR 7879 has a scale, the NCR RealScan™ 25 Remote Compact Display may also be used to indicate the weight of an item and scale information.
